The Relationship Manager – Asset at HBL Microfinance Bank is responsible for leading and supervising a team of Loan Officers to achieve portfolio growth, maintain portfolio quality, and ensure timely loan recovery. The role involves evaluating loan proposals, monitoring portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and applicable regulatory requirements, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
The incumbent will support business development, oversee loan documentation, manage portfolio risks, mentor and develop team members, and contribute to achieving branch business objectives while maintaining operational excellence, service quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Loan Officers to achieve assigned business development and portfolio growth targets.
- Allocate business development, collection, and recovery targets to team members and monitor their performance.
- Review and evaluate loan applications, supporting documentation, and credit recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with loan processing procedures, legal documentation requirements, and turnaround time (TAT) standards.
- Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency, and non-performing loans (NPLs), and implement appropriate recovery strategies.
- Supervise loan transactions and ensure accurate and timely record keeping.
- Maintain regular communication with Loan Officers to monitor portfolio health and address problematic accounts.
- Ensure compliance with HBL Microfinance Bank’s policies, applicable State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, and consumer protection standards.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance, productivity, and service quality.
- Review audit observations and ensure timely resolution of compliance and operational issues.
- Identify business opportunities, support cross-selling initiatives, and provide relevant market feedback to management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Dunya Pur, Batkhela, Jacobabad, Pasrur, Usta Muhammad, and Bahawalnagar.
